Social Network Analysis
Lada Adamic
This course will use social network analysis, both its theory and computational tools, to make sense of the social and information networks that have been fueled and rendered accessible by the internet.
Dear FIX,
Per popular request, we are extending the deadline on HW5 until this Friday.
We've gotten a fresh jar file from the kind folks developing NetLogo at Northwestern. This should help with viewing the NetLogo model for HW5 Q4 (still won't work for Chrome since it doesn't support Java 7, but should work fine in other browsers). If the model stubbornly refuses to run in your browser, please install NetLogo, install the NW extension (by extracting it and putting it in the extensions directory of your NetLogo installation), and finally download the model itself, and open it from within NetLogo.
The same change should be propagated to the nw directory on the coursera site, so if you are having difficulty viewing any of the week 6 NetLogo demos, give them a try tomorrow again.
BTW, lectures and HW for week 6 are available.
Thanks,
Social Network Analysis Course Staff
